Houses and real estate are something Deirdre has loved since she was a young girl and she clearly remembers growing up in her parent’s picture-perfect center-hall colonial in Westchester County. Deirdre always seemed to have an understanding of different sections of towns, easily comprehending different styles of houses as well as zoning, schooling, and overall neighborhood personalities. Whether houses were old or new, she was always intrigued by the architecture, flow, and use of space.
After graduating from the University of Maryland, Deirdre commuted to NYC for more than 10 years from various shoreline locations between Greenwich and Westport. During that time, she owned and operated her accessories and costume jewelry company traveling both internationally and within the US. Wherever she found herself, Deirdre admired the architecture, the different designs, and how each distinct culture imprinted its personality onto its homes. At one point, she and her husband entered into real estate and started building; small family projects soon turned into major renovations, then complete rebuilds and eventually new home construction.
From the moment Deirdre passed her real estate exam she knew she had found her niche. Her natural ability to work with people matched with her love and understanding of houses plus her years of business experience made the perfect combination to successfully compete in the real estate world.
As a licensed real estate broker in Connecticut and New York for the past 23 years, Deirdre’s expertise in the Westport/Weston/Fairfield market as well as New York City has helped her to successfully direct both home buyers and sellers.
